A World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, the Victoria Falls is the largest waterfall in the world, constantly being created and recreated as the mighty Zambezi River makes a sudden kilometre wide drop and plunges over 100m into a gorge.
The local name for Victoria Falls is Mosi-oa-Tunya, which means ‘the smoke that thunders’.
