Located, 20km or a 30 minute boat ride from Bahrain’s main island, and the Durrat Al Bahrain Pavilion. Hawar Island is an outstanding destination recognised by UNESCO for its natural history. Its pristine environment has been virtually untouched, resulting in a vibrant ecosystem that will appeal to nature lovers and adventure seekers.
Driving directions to “Durrat Al Bahrain Pavilion”:
- From Bahrain International Airport in Muharraq, head southwest on Road 2404.
- Turn right onto Road 2403 and continue to Khalifa Al Khabeer Highway.
- Follow Khalifa Al Khabeer Highway, then take Al Fateh Highway.
- Continue on Al Fateh Highway, then Shaikh Jaber A. Al Subah Highway.
- Proceed to King Hamad Highway and follow it to Durrat Al Bahrain in the Southern Governorate.
- Follow the clearly marked signage to our Welcome Centre. Approximately 1 hour driving time.
